eneath the mounds of paperclips and dried up pens, your junk drawer items have a story to tell. These sleeping relics link us to our past and reveal history like our own, personal diary—if we would only but give them a chance to speak. So it was, one day, that I had a peek into my junk drawer to see what stories it had to tell me. What I found resulted in My Junk Drawer Museum, the first museum ever to be dedicated to the preservation of, well, junk drawer stuff. But it’s more than just a collection of dried-up rubber bands and empty tape dispenser carcasses! You might find, as I did, that there’s a little Louvre hidden inside these junk drawers of ours. Maybe even a masterpiece or two. These are my Mona Lisa’s.
